-they last longer before having to change parts
- better for driving long distances
- Faster acceleration
- easy and convenient and quick to fill gas up anywhere

Cons
-cannot utilize breaking energy
-fuel is expensive
-not great for the environment

Electric cars
Pros
-regenerates energy lost in breaking
-cheaper to drive
-better for city driving because of the regenerative breaking for the stopping and going
-better for the environment

Cons
-runs out of battery fairly quickly
-batteries take long to charge
-batteries need to be replaced every 10 years
-batteries hold less i winter
-using air conditioning and heating can drain you battery quickly
-not good for long distance driving
-less acceleration
-not many charging stations
